1. Who we are
The Email Verifier (“the service”) is an internal email address verification service operated by Lifeguard-Pro, 5550 Glades Road Suite 5, Boca Raton, FL 33431, United States (“Lifeguard-Pro”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers the service and this website at lgpteam.com.
2. What information is processed
- Email addresses submitted for checking. Authorized our staff submit addresses that we already hold for a business purpose. For each address the service processes the address itself, its domain, the domain's DNS MX records, and the reply code returned by the receiving mail server.
- Verification results. For each address: good, bad, risky or unknown, together with the server response that led to that result.
- Staff account information. The username of the staff member using the portal and the jobs they submit, so that results are returned only to the person who requested them.
- Website visitors. This website uses no cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or third-party resources. Like any web server, ours necessarily processes your IP address and the details of your request in order to deliver the page and protect the service from misuse.
- Correspondence. If you write to us (for example to abuse@lgpteam.com), we process the content of your message and your contact details to respond and, where requested, to record your domain exclusion.
The service never sends email to the addresses it checks, and never transmits message content. See How it works.
3. Why we process it
We process this information to keep our own contact records accurate, to avoid sending mail that would bounce, to operate and secure the service, and to handle abuse reports and exclusion requests. Our basis is the operator's legitimate interest in maintaining accurate records and operating responsibly, and, for exclusion requests, compliance with the wishes of domain owners.
4. Retention
- Addresses submitted for checking are held in memory only while the check runs.
- They are purged from memory once the results are fetched by the staff member who submitted them. Any data still in memory is also lost if the service restarts.
- No address lists are written to disk by the service.
- Domain exclusion requests are kept for as long as the exclusion is in effect, so that it can be honored.
- Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter.
5. Sharing and sale
We do not sell, rent, trade or share email addresses, verification results or any other information processed by the service. The service is used only by authorized staff. Information may be disclosed only where required by law, such as in response to a valid legal order.
6. Security
The portal is restricted to authorized staff, all web traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, and the verification interface is not publicly reachable. Keeping addresses in memory only and purging them after use minimizes the data that could ever be exposed.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing. Domain owners and mail administrators can request that their domain is excluded from all checks; see Abuse & opt-out. Because submitted addresses are not retained after results are fetched, in most cases we will hold no stored data about an individual address.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
